FULL-TIME POSITIONS
IN BANFF
Mikes Electric is looking for several candidates
to join our growing team.
Seeking project managers, administrative staff,
apprentice electricians, and warehouse personnel.
Looking for enthusiastic and hardworking candidates
ready to kickstart their career in the electrical field in Banff, Alberta.
Mikes Electric is Banff’s leading electrical contractor
and design-build specialist firm with over 35 years’ experience in the Banff area.
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Project Manager:
• Electricians with experience in project management;
• Knowledge of the Canadian Electric Code (CEC);
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant electrical experience (commercial and/or institutional setting);
• 1-3 years’ experience with job quotes and electrical project management;
• Microsoft Office suite, Quickbooks, Trimble Accubid.

Office Personnel:
• High School (required);
• Post-secondary (preferred);
• Post-secondary in business, administration, or accounting is an asset;
• Office/Administrative/Clerical/Financial experience working in a busy, fast paced, and rapidly evolving office environment: 1-2 years (required);
• Financial experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable functions: 1 year (preferred);
• Clerical experience in the electrical field is an advantage, but not a requirement (commercial and/or institutional setting);
• Microsoft Office suite, Quickbooks, Trimble Accubid.

Apprentice Electricians:
• Looking for all levels of workers from no experience, to first/second/third year apprentices, to journeymen electricians;
• Eager to learn and willing to grow in the electrical field;
Warehouse Personnel:
• Ability to lift, move, and organize heavy objects on a regular basis;
• Experience receiving and processing incoming / outgoing stock and materials;
• Manage incoming stock and materials;
• Organize and retrieve stock;
• Pick and fill orders from stock;
• Packing and shipping orders;
• Valid driver’s license (required).
All Positions:
• Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
